This Ghibli song, the miraculous first collaboration between YAKENOHARA, a versatile artist who creates a variety of products as a rapper/DJ and ambient/new age musician, and Clémentine, a true Parisian singer who boasts immense popularity in Japan as "the epitome of modern French pop," is a cover of Narumi Yasuda's "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," the theme song from Hayao Miyazaki's 1984 film "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," with lyrics by Takashi Matsumoto and music by Haruomi Hosono.
