The jacket features newly drawn illustrations by Shiho Sato, a painter who works on the backgrounds of Studio Ghibli movies, and Shinichiro Yamada, an animator from Ghibli, with design by FJD!

⚪︎ "Cafe Apres-midi Meets Studio Ghibli" is a newly recorded cover compilation of famous Studio Ghibli movie songs, supervised and selected by Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA), who has produced many popular compilations such as "Free Soul," "Cafe Apres-midi," "Mellow Beats," "Good Mellows," "Jazz Supreme," "Music in the Landscape," "Incense Music," and "Chillout Breeze" series. It is presented in a superb collaboration with artwork by FJD and mastering by Calm. Following the先行配信 single, CD & digital album, and 7-inch single, the LP of the album will be released on Wednesday, July 22, 2026!

⚪︎ For this work, Toru Hashimoto selected a collection of famous Ghibli movie songs, and 12 artists, deeply connected to Shibuya's Cafe Apres-midi, created new covers under exquisite direction with the theme of "coffee-like happiness in the afternoon." Among the many Ghibli cover collections produced to date, this collection boasts an exceptional quality and is filled with special masterpieces.
The FJD-designed jackets for the album (CD/LP) and six 7-inch singles, totaling seven works, are wonderfully impressive, using illustrations by Ghibli movie painters & animators depicting the scenes of Cafe Apres-midi with a gradation from 1 PM to 7 PM. The mastering, focused on sound by Calm, is also excellent, completing the ultimate official Cafe Apres-midi × Studio Ghibli compilation.
