[CD] Incense Music for Living Room

Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) has been supervising over 350 compilation albums, including "Free Soul," "Cafe Apres-midi," "Mellow Beats," "Good Mellows," "Jazz Supreme," and the "Music Scenery" series, and has been providing guidance to music listeners as a music selector since the 1990s. Based at Shibuya's "Cafe Apres-midi," he continues to receive tremendous support for his various music suggestions that color everyday life, and in the 30th anniversary of his compiler life, he has launched a new compilation series, "Incense Music," in March 2024.

The second in the series, "Incense Music for Living Room," features a selection of ambient, jazz, chill-out, balearic, post-classical, jazzy, and mellow beats blended together for a relaxing living space, based on the theme of "the marriage of scent and music" by Toru Hashimoto, as well as new recordings by artists trusted by Toru Hashimoto (Calm's cover of Holger Czukay's "Persian Love," Takeda Yoshiharu's cover of Bobby Hutcherson's "Montara," and a new track arranged by haruka nakamura of a re-performance of pianist Noriko Kose's masterpiece "I Miss You"), and beautiful jacket artwork drawn by Jiro Fujita.
