⚪︎The first EP "neo nostalgia" from the R&B project "alt." features a double A-side 7-inch record with two cover songs of famous R&B hits from the 2000s.

⚪︎Side A features a cover of Ashanti's "Foolish" by aimi, a singer representing the Japanese R&B scene, and producer Modesty Beats. The iconic piano riff of the original song is replaced with a guitar sample, and the lyrics are reinterpreted from an adult perspective, creating a nostalgic and emotional track.

⚪︎Side AA features a cover of Aaliyah's "Rock the Boat" by DJ/beatmaker TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C) and singer-songwriter/DJ Lil Summer. With a refreshing arrangement incorporating elements of Afrobeat and Amapiano, it retains the sweet charm of the original while updating it with a modern dance groove.

⚪︎This special 7-inch record is a must-have for R&B fans, brilliantly reconstructing two classic 2000s R&B songs, Ashanti's "Foolish" and Aaliyah's "Rock the Boat," with a contemporary sensibility.
