⚪︎The long-awaited debut album "Eternal Games" by the progressive alternative band "OLYMPUS HEAD", formed in 2024 and known only to those in the know.
A new development in J-ROCK. An important work that will appeal not only to fans of progressive rock and alternative music, but also to fans of old rock and J-pop!

⚪︎Shingo Suda of the progressive rock band Romanesco and Tomohiro Oshima, who is active in the alternative trio Sister Ley and the progressive fastcore band TERRO TERRO, teamed up to write the song, which was arranged by Oshima and Segue, and was joined by drummer Ryotaro Shigemoto of Nayuta Keikaku, with Oshima producing the album.
Supervised by his grandfather Amajun and Miyajima Kenichi, the album features guest appearances by progressive rock band Evraak, Seo Marina from TERRO TERRO, and Nozaki Rokurou from Kinzoku Ebisu.

⚪︎Modern, pop rock music that draws on a variety of musical influences, from '60s British psychedelic pop to '70s European progressive rock, '90s alternative rock, and even contemporary music from the late 20th century, and is backed by the members' advanced performance skills.
Oshima plays the 8-string guitar, Segue plays the 7-string bass, and Shigemoto, who has a background in classical and jazz music, plays complex yet powerful drumming. The lyrics sung by Suda's clear vocals create a unique world that bridges ancient mythology with cutting-edge science.
"A shockingly unique worldview... the dazzling world of Olympus Head, like an eternal Möbius strip" (Sounami Jun) is contained in this important J-ROCK work of the 2020s!

⚪︎The album also includes commentary by Jun Sofuani, co-author of the prog guide "100 Progressive Rock of the 21st Century" edited by Strange Days, and Kenichi Miyajima, an important artist in the prog/alternative scene!
