"SPARKLE (HALFBY innn HAWAII EDIT)" is a special version of the English cover of Tatsuro Yamashita's famous song "SPARKLE" by Hawaiian AOR band "Greenwood," re-edited by HALFBY.

"SPARKLE" by Greenwood, a Hawaiian AOR band led by Hawaii-born Japanese musician Robin Kimura, was released in a small press in 1985. Since the 2000s, the song has been rediscovered by Japanese DJs and included in compilation albums by the Hawaiian label "Aloha Got Soul." It has also ridden the wave of the vinyl boom and the rediscovery of city pop, becoming so popular that it is difficult to obtain re-releases on 7-inch records and albums.

This time, a re-edit by HALFBY was realized thanks to the kindness of Robin Kimura for the new CD series "HONEY meets ISLAND CAFE" release "Sea of Love 7" in April! This appraisal remix has been a hot topic for both the CD and the digital single.

HALFBY is a musician from Kyoto who creates his own unique music. He is an artist with a deep knowledge of Hawaii and island music, having released his own Hawaii-inspired works "innn HAWAII," "LAST ALOHA," and "Loco."
This song is an unlikely collaboration in which HALFBY remixes Greenwood's "SPARKLE," and it's one you can't miss!
