A masterpiece filled with love and homage to Japanese pop music, which finds its future in the pursuit of nostalgia, will be released on Wednesday, February 18th!

Gota Nishidera (NONA REEVES) has released "Human," a "human" cover album that tackles pop songs and new music from the 1980s and 1990s. Following his acclaimed solo cover album "Sunset Rain" in 2023, this album features songs by Kyohei Tsutsumi and Reiko Yukawa, two artists whom Nishidera himself has personally studied, as well as Eiichi Ohtaki, whose approach to "pop music research and practice" he deeply respects. The selection and production of the songs is unprecedented, spanning a wide range of genres.

After two tours of China with NONA REEVES and a solo performance in Taiwan—his successful experiences in Asia—Gota Nishidera has taken a fresh look at Japanese pop music, creating eight ultimate tracks that capture its charm in a vacuum-packed format.
Born in 1973, he has brought Japanese music from the dawn of a new era in 1980 up to date through the lens of someone born in that era. With a sound and vocals that are imbued with a deep affection for the original, he has redefined it in a modern and fresh way.

⚪︎The production is handled by Gota Nishidera's long-time trusted collaborators Ken Tomita and Tomoya Yamagata, as well as the young talent Yudai Ohi.
M-5 "Woman from 'W no Higeki'" also features a duet with Hicksville vocalist Megumi Mashiro, with whom NONA REEVES has long collaborated on her work and in live performances.

The jacket design was created by Fukumi Keita, producer of the YouTube channel "Nishida Gota Channel NGC." The image shows Nishida Gota getting his hair cut as usual at a barber's in his hometown of Sangenjaya, vividly expressing his "human" sensibility in visual terms.
