⚪︎SIDE-A: Yasuharu Konishi / Hikoukigumo
Yasuharu Konishi, who is exploring new frontiers with his vocal works and live performances with just his voice and a guitar, covers Yumi Arai's "Hikoukigumo," the theme song for Hayao Miyazaki's 2013 film "The Wind Rises."
This cover, arranged in a light and groovy bossa style by a three-person band consisting of Yasuharu Konishi on vocals and guitar, Katsuhito Suzuki on wood bass, and Ryusuke Kakizawa on drums and percussion, is a wonderful production that brings a mysterious warmth with Konishi's moving vocals and live performance. A truly masterful cover is born.

⚪︎SIDE-AA: Keiichi Sogabe / Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara
Keiichi Sokabe, who, as the vocalist/guitarist of Sunny Day Service and through his independent/DIY solo activities, has embodied culture centered on music since the 1990s, covers Yumi Arai's "Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara," the theme song for Hayao Miyazaki's 1989 film "Kiki's Delivery Service."
This cover, arranged with a comfortable groovy and mellow band sound, is an excellent production that reconfirms the heartwarming qualities of the original song. Sogabe's wonderful vocals recreating this famous song make this a masterful cover that is a must-listen.

⚪︎The jacket features original illustrations by Shiho Sato, a painter who worked on backgrounds for Studio Ghibli films, and Shinichiro Yamada, an animator from Ghibli, with design by FJD!
