Kunimondo Takiguchi (Ryusenkei), who established the foundation for the rediscovery of city pop in the early 2000s and has continued to create original city pop music for over 20 years, has selected works that he wants to present to the world as "city music" at this current time.
This compilation is a departure from the city pop works from the 70s to 90s that are continually being unearthed and re-released, and instead focuses on indie works, both old and new, from the 90s to the present.
